The condo Canvas located in the Arts & Entertainment district in Miami recently had their foundation pour and two cranes have been added to the site.

Construction is starting to go vertical on the 37 story tower.

Melo Group To Break Ground Soon On Square Station

Melo Group recently announced the tower Square Station located at 1424 Northeast Miami Place in the Arts & Entertainment district of Miami. 

Square Station will have 34 floors with 710 residential units and 15,000 square feet of commercial space. Prices will range from $1,600 for a one bedroom to $2,500 for a three bedroom

Melo Group just signed a utilities deal for the site and ground breaking is expected to begin before the end of the month.

The nearby Melody Tower just recently opened and Melo Group is also building the under construction Sushi Samba along the Miami River.

Melody Tower Near Completion, Ready To Open Next Month

After breaking ground in June 2014, Melody Tower is almost completed and will be ready to open to residents in May. The 36 story tower with 497 residential units is developed by Melo Group and topped out at the beginning of the year.

Located at 1630 NE 1st Avenue in the Arts & Entertainment District of Miami is the 37 story Canvas Condominiums. 

Canvas is being developed by Nir Shoshani and Ron Gottesmann of NR Investments. The building will have 513 residential units and prices will range from $350,000 to $600,000. The unit size will range from 610 to 1,110 square feet. 

Groundbreaking on the project began earlier this year after initially planned in December 2015.

JHM Hotels Purchases Site In Arts & Entertainment District

JHM Hotels has purchased a site located at 511 NE 15th St for $8 million, according to The Real Deal.

The lot size of 11,700 square feet currently has a single story building, which is near the Venetian Causeway and across the street from where the Miami Herald building once stood.

The site is zoned for 36 stories with a potential to go as high as 60 stories.

Melo Group Purchases Land In Arts & Entertainment District

Purchased Lots in Red

Melo Group has purchased land totaling $11.5 million in the Arts & Entertainment district of Miami, according to The Real Deal. The lots are located at 1523, 1529, 1545 NE Miami Court, 1502, 1546 NE Miami Place and 47 NE 15th Street.

The total square foot of the lots purchased is 35,300. 

To the East of the purchased lots, Melo Group is building Melody, which just recently topped out. Melo Group also purchased an entire block for $16 million just South of the recently purchased lots in October 2014.
