Avant At Met Square Reaches 28th Floor
Avant at Met Square has reached the 28th floor of the 43 story building. When we last looked in October 2016, the building just reached the 15th floor.
The glass had been installed at the base of the building and is starting to go in at the lower portion of the residential tower.
Avent at Met Square will have a 19 screen movie theater and amenites include resort style pool, wellness center and dog salon.
The building is expected to be completed first quarter 2018.

Southeast Financial Center Sold For $500M
After being put on the market in July, the Southeast Financial Center has been purchased for $500 million, according to The Real Deal.
The 55 story office tower in Downtown Miami was built in 1984 with 1.225 million square feet in office space. The Skidmore, Owings & Merrill designed tower was purchased by billionaire Armando Ortega, who owns the clothing chain Zara.
The iconic Miami Tower recently sold for $220 million earlier this year.
Update: The official sale price is $516.6 million
One Thousand Museum Reaches 25th Floor
The under construction 62 story One Thousand Museum in Miami has reached the 25th floor. When we last looked at the project in August construction had reached the 15th floor.
The glass fiber reinforced concrete panels are starting to be installed on the exoskeleton of the building. More windows are starting to be installed on the lower portion of the tower.
Construction will be completed in 2018.

MiamiCentral Station Construction Photos
Construction is progressing at the MiamiCentral Station by All Aboard Florida in Miami since we last looked at the project in August.
The 50 foot elevated platforms above street level are taking shape as the rail system will connect Miami with Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and eventually Orlando. Over 1,300 pilings were used for the station going 100 feet into the ground to help support the tracks.
Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill along with Zyscovich Architects, MiamiCentral will also have two residential towers: The South Tower at 33 floors and The North Tower at 30 floors with 800 rental apartments. At the Northern end of the station is the office Two MiamiCentral with over 190,000 square feet of space and 10 floors. On the Western side of the tracks, the under construction 3 MiamiCentral, has reached 12 floors. 3 MiamiCentral will have office and retail space along with 1,100 parking spaces. The base for the North and South Tower along with Two MiamiCentral are already taking shape. Full construction will not take place on these buildings until after the station is complete.

After a 30 hour foundation pour a month ago, Paramount Worldcenter is starting to go vertical on the 60 story condo with 513 residential units. A crane has been added to the site that will also include a pedestrian friendly open air mall.
Groundbreaking began in March 2016 and is expected to be completed by 2018.
Aston Martin Residences To Be Built Along Miami River
After purchasing the 1.25 acre land along the Miami River next to the Epic Hotel for $125 million in 2014, the Coto Family of Argentina revealed the new luxury condominium will be named Aston Martin Residences, according to The Miami Herald.
The 66 story tower will be built near the entrance of the Miami River and have 390 residential units. There will be two private lobbies, a two story fitness center, an infinity pool on the 55th floor and a yacht marina. The tower was designed by Revuelta Architects and Bodas Miani Anger.
Sales will launch in March, after the renovation of the on site sales center and groundbreaking to start in the Summer of 2017. Construction is expected to be completed by 2021.
As part of construction, a 24 foot wide riverwalk will added to connect along the Miami River.
