Grove at Grand Bay Receives TCO (Photos)

Grove at Grand Bay has received its temporary certificate of occupancy and closings will begin this week, according to The Real Deal.  

The two twisting towers designed by architect Bjarke Ingels, is located at 2675 and 2669 South Bayshore Drive. The towers have 98 units and both towers are 20 stories. Interior build outs will be completed in three months and move ins ready in four to six months.

Grove at Grand Bay was once home to the iconic five star Grand Bay Hotel that become abandoned for many years before the property was purchased by Terra Group for $24 million in 2011. 

Construction on the Grove at Grand Bay began in June 2013 and topped off in June 2015. While the two towers were under being built, they lit up the Coconut Grove skyline from the construction lights at night

The two twisting towers are developed by Terra Group and were designed by architect Bjarke Ingels. 

Construction is expected to be completed by Summer 2016.

Grove At Grand Bay Construction Updates

Since we last looked at Grove at Grand Bay in June 2015, the two twisting towers had just topped out. The two cranes have been removed from the site and while work continues on the interior and exterior of the buildings. 

Grove at Grand Bay is being developed by Terra Group and was designed by architect Bjarke Ingels. Only one unit remains in the two towers and it is the penthouse unit being sold for $28 million. Curbed Miami has renderings of the penthouse for sale here. Construction is expected to be completed later this year.

Grove at Grand Bay has topped off after finally twisting its way to twenty stories. The two towers overlook Biscayne Bay and is across from Regatta Park.

The Grove at Grand Bay is an architectural marvel located in Coconut Grove, Miami. When you drive into Coconut Grove the two twisting towers immediately catch your eye and are gorgeous to look at. At night is when the towers really come to life and the twisting columns are more pronounced and prominent. 

The two twenty story towers were designed by architect Bjarke Ingels and developed by Terra Group. Both the towers are a floor away from being topped out to their maximum height.

When you drive into Coconut Grove from Brickell, the first thing you notice is the Grove at Grand Bay under construction at the site of the now demolished Grand Bay Hotel Coconut Grove

The two towers are spiraling to the height of 20 stories and is in the process of building the 13th floor. 

Windows are being installed on the lower floors and the lower level pool has been built out.

Construction On Grove at Grand Bay In Coconut Grove

Grove at Grand Bay spiraling towers are becoming more pronounced as construction continues on the site. 

In our construction photos two months ago, the towers were at a height of four floors. Now, they are almost eight floors up. 

The columns are more apparent as they line around the towers and begin to twist as they rise up.

Grove at Grand Bay will offer spectacular views of Biscayne Bay, Coconut Grove and Key Biscayne.
