TBT - One Thousand Museum Reaches 25th Floor

TBT (November 17, 2016) - 3 years ago, construction was reaching the 25th floor at Zaha Hadid’s One Thousand Museum before topping off in February 2018. The building received TCO in July of this year.

The under construction 62 story One Thousand Museum in Miami has reached the 25th floor. When we last looked at the project in August construction had reached the 15th floor.

The glass fiber reinforced concrete panels are starting to be installed on the exoskeleton of the building. More windows are starting to be installed on the lower portion of the tower.

Construction will be completed in 2018.

Monad Terrace Construction Updates

Most of the glass has been installed at Monad Terrace since we last looked at the project in February of this year and the building topped off.

Developed by JDS Development, Monad Terrace has 59 residential units with a 7 story and 14 story tower.

Construction started on Monad Terrace March 2018 and started going vertical August 2018.

One Cocowalk Construction Photos

Construction is moving quickly at the 5 story One Cocowalk as the office building and surrounding space is taking shape.

The previous building and rotunda at Cocowalk was completed demolished in September 2018 and vertical construction was underway almost a year ago in December 2018.

Construction is expected to be completed Spring 2020.

TBT - Jade Signature Reaches 15th Floor of Construction

TBT (November 6, 2015) - The 57 story Jade Signature was reaching the the 15th floor 4 years ago before becoming completed in March 2018.

Jade Signature in Sunny Isles Beach has reached the 15th floor of construction with workers starting to add the 16th floor.

When we last looked, Jade Signature was just starting to go vertical on was on the second floor. The condo will be 57 stories.

The Estates at Acqualina South Tower Reaches 41st Floor

The Estates at Acqualina South Tower has reached the 41st floor after foundation work started in October 2018. Last month, construction was on the 36th floor.

The North and South Tower will top off at 50 stories.

Eighty Seven Park Set To Open Soon

The 18 story Renzo Piano designed Eighty Seven Park is nearly completed and soon to open. TCO should be received soon and closings will be underway for the luxury condo in Surfside.

Foundation work began April 2016 and started going vertical March 2018. The building topped off October 2018.

Eighty Seven Park has only 68 residential units.

TBT - Tobacco Road - "End of the Road" Video

Tobacco Road Will Move Across the Lot To A New Location

TBT (October 27, 2014) - 5 years ago the oldest bar in Miami closed for good as Tobacco Road had its final party. The building would eventually be demolished a month later in November 2014. The site will eventually be a 54 story condo as part of the Brickell City Centre Expansion.

On Saturday, October 25, 2014, Tobacco Road will be closing its doors for the final time after 102 years.

The property and land was bought by developer Carlos Mattos, who hasn't announced what he plans on doing with the site.

New owner, Joel Rivera, is trying to raise money with a kickstarter campaign to save all the historical items in the bar including the original wood bar and classic neon sign. They plan on moving to a new location at 69 SW 7th St, which is across the lot from the original site. They plan to open in six months to a year with a 36 year lease option.

It was also just announced that in November 2015, Tobacco Road will have a bar on the Norwegian Escape cruise line.
