A pink black tiled house located at 5860 North Bay Road on Miami Beach is set to be demolished on January 19, 2016. The house was once owned by notorious drug kingpin Pablo Escobar who purchased the house on March 21, 1980 for $765,500.
The 7,336 square foot house was built in 1948 and has 4 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms on a lot size of 33,041 square feet. A 2,061 square foot addition was added to the house in 1992.

Brickell Flatiron continues to rise to its final height of 736 feet as the luxury condominium is expected to top off next week December 15th after breaking ground March 2016.
When we looked at the project last month, the building was on the 62nd floor and a video was made showing a finished unit in the building.
Brickell Flatiron is being developed by CMC Group and designed by Luis Revuelta and is expected to be completed Summer 2019.

Brickell Flatiron has reached the 62nd floor of construction and is only 2 floors away from top off.
Last month in October, construction was on the 57th floor and a year ago, construction just reached the 17th floor.
Cladding has begun on the outside of the parking levels.
Developed by CMC Group Brickell Flatiron is expected to be completed Summer 2019.

Traffic along the Brickell Avenue Bridge during rush hour. The City of Miami has been talking for years about digging a tunnel under the Miami River to alleviate some of the congestion during peak hours.
Hooters Restaurant at Cocowalk
As the Eastern portion of Cocowalk began demolition last week to make way for the new 5 story office, One Cocowalk, interior demolition began months before on the Duffy's Sports Grill on the second floor and eventually the Hooters Restaurant on the third floor.
Opening in 2008, Hooters eventually closed in 2012 and sat empty until now.
