In Downtown Miami, the Met Square site has finally started construction after battling archaeologists over the discovery of an ancient Tequesta village.
The building, which will have a movie theatre and restaurant is being developed by MDM Development Group while the 42 story 391 residential units named Avant, is being developed by ZOM. ZOM is also developing Monarc at Met 3 across the street.

ZOM recently received a $108 million construction loan for Solitair Brickell, which is located across the street from Brickell City Centre and next to Brickell Heights.
Workers have completely removed the parking ramp that was connected to the Chase Bank building.
The building is expected to be completed by late 2017.

ZOM has secured a $108 million construction loan from JPChase Morgan Bank, according to SFBJ.
The loan will be used for construction of Solitair Brickell, which will be a 46 story condo located at 86 SW 8th St.
After opening the Whole Foods on the ground level earlier this year, construction still continued above as the Monarc at Met 3 just topped off, according to Curbed Miami.
The building has reached 32 stories with an 11 story parking garage underneath.

The 32 story building is currently on the 30th floor and close to topping out.Construction is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

Fencing has been added to the Brickell Bayview Center site at 86 SW 8th St. The ramp that leads into the parking garage into the Chase building next door is going to be coming down soon in preparation of the construction.
The 48 story tower was given approval by the FAA in September 2014.
