On March 15th, Melo Group will go before Miami's Planning, Zoning and Appeals Board to rezone a 1.22 acre site in the Arts & Entertainment district, according to The Next Miami.
The block of land between NE 14th St and NE 1st Ave was purchased for $16 million in 2014 and is located across the street from another project from Melo Group under construction, Square Station.
The current zoning allows for a 22 story building with 304 units, while Melo Group is looking to rezone for a 43 story building with 630 units.
