Downtown Miami Langford Hotel Sold For $37M

The 12 story Langford Hotel located at 121 SE 1st Street in Downtown Miami has been sold for $37 million, according to The Real Deal.

The hotel, built in 1925 was sold by Stambul and purchased by Hotusa Hotels. Stambul purchased the building in 2013 for $2.7 million and spent two years renovating the structure.

Stambul purchased a building a 200 East Flagler for $19.75 million in July 2018 and purchased the old U.S. Post Office and Courthouse Building for $11 million in June 2014.

A five story building in Downtown Miami, located at 200 East Flagler St has been sold for $19.75 million, according to The Miami Herald.

The 46,912 square foot building, which was originally a Walgreens, was built in 1937 and was purchased by Stambul. Stambul also purchased the Old U.S. Post Office and Courthouse Building for $11 million in 2014. 

The building will be converted into high end restaurants, retail and entertainment venues.

Biscayne Bay Brewing is opening a second location at the Old United States Post Office and Courthouse building at 100 NE 1st Ave in Downtown Miami, according to The Real Deal.

The 3 story United States Post Office and Courthouse building was built in 1917 by architect Oscar Renderoth in a neoclassical style, with an addition added later in 1937 designed by Kiehnel and Elliot when it was converted into the First Federal Savings and Loan Bank. The bank occupied the building until 1990. In 2013, the first two floors were occupied by the Miami Center for Architecture and Design after spending over $300,000 in renovations.  The lease for the Miami Center for Architecture and Design ended at the end of last year. 

Daniel Peña of Stambul Ventures purchased the 35,455 square foot building in June 2014 for $11 million.
