Perricone's Marketplace And Cafe
After 22 years, Perricone's Marketplace And Cafe is closing its Brickell location today. The restaurant will be demolished, after being sold for $16 million, to make way for a 19 story CitizenM Hotel with 252 hotel rooms.
Perricone's Restaurant and Gourmet Market will open at 1700 SW 3rd Ave in April that will have over 5,000 square feet of space.
Perricone's Marketplace Brickell
Perricone's Marketplace in Brickell will close in a few weeks after first opening in 1996. The property was sold in October 2017 for $16.18 million.
Demolition plans were filed in December 2017 that will make way for a 19 story CitizenM Hotel with 252 rooms.
Perricone’s will move to a nearby location at 1700 SW Third Ave and will open at the end of March.
CitizenM Hotel Brickell Site
Demolition plans have been filed for Perricone’s Marketplace and Cafe in Brickell for a new 19 story CitizenM Hotel, according to The Real Deal.
The 10,965 square foot lot was sold in October 2017 for $16.18 million after originally purchased for $725,000 in August 1997.
The CitizenM Hotel Brickell will cost $46 million to build and have 252 hotel rooms at a height of 253 feet.
CitizenM Hotel Brickell
A new rendering has been revealed on the CitizenM website of the new 20 story CitizenM Hotel Brickell on the Perricone's Restaurant site.
The 10,695 square foot Perricone's Restaurant lot was sold for $16 million in October 2017.
A previous rendering in June showed a different design. When completed, the CitizenM Hotel Brickell will have 252 hotel rooms and a rooftop restaurant.
CitizenM Hotels also announced that a 12 story hotel will be coming to the Miami Worldcenter site in the future.
CitizenM Hotel Brickell Rendering
A new 20 story CitizenM Hotel Brickell with 252 rooms will replace the Perricone's Marketplace & Cafe on the site that has been there since 1994.
The 10,965 square foot lot was purchased by CitizenM Hotels for $16.18 million in October 2018.
Based on the rendering, the CitizenM Hotel Brickell will have art murals on the façade and a rooftop pool or restaurant.
