Coconut Grove Bank Will Be Demolished For Park Grove

TBT (July 29, 2014) - Park Grove was announced as coming to Coconut Grove. The first two towers, The Club Residences and Two Park Grove were completed in October 2018 and the last tower, One Park Grove, recently topped off and is expected to be completed before the end of the year.

Slow to the residential boom of Miami is Coconut Grove, but that is all changing with the addition of Park Grove. 

Developers Terra Group and Related Group are joining together to create three towers that will consist of 300 units. The towers were designed by architect Rem Koolhaas.

Currently in it's place is the Coconut Grove Bank, which has been there for many years. The bank will have a smaller space in one of the towers, but will stay in where it is until the first phase of the project is completed. 

The site is located near Grove at Grand Bay, which was once the site of the iconic Grand Bay Hotel. Across from Park Grove will be the new Regatta Park, which will give residents views of Biscayne Bay. 

Groundbreaking is expected early 2015.

One Park Grove is getting closer to completion has the final crane has been removed from the 21 story building as the last building in the Park Grove complex in Coconut Grove.

Construction began on One Park Grove March 2018 before topping off in March of this year. The tower is expected to be completed before the end of the year.

Plans for the The Regatta Harbour in Coconut Grove went for review by Miami’s Historic & Environmental Review Board yesterday.

Construction is already underway on the site as the seawall is being rebuilt on the site of the former Chart House restaurant.

Construction is also underway on the Grove Bay Parking Garage.

Mayfair Hotel Coconut Grove

The Iconic Mayfair Hotel in Coconut Grove been purchased for over $40 million by Brookfield Asset Management, according to The Real Deal.

Completed in 1985, it was designed by architect Kenneth Treister, who also designed the nearby Office in the Grove and The Yacht Harbour Condo.

The hotel has 179 rooms with a rooftop pool, spa, fitness center and restaurant.

The Mayfair Hotel was last purchased for $27.6 million by Mayfair CLTG Holdings in 2014.

The Mary Street Office building in Coconut Grove is getting closer to completion since we last looked at construction in August 2018.

The Class A office building will have 75,000 square feet of office space and 20,000 square feet of retail.

The office building is across the street from Park Grove, which One Park Grove is still under construction and will be completed before the end of the year.

Construction is moving quickly at One Cocowalk as the first glass is being installed on the second floor of the 5 story Class A office building.

When completed, the new Cocowalk will feature a Los Generales Mezcal & Grill and the newly announced Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza.
