Aston Martin Residences Construction

The 66 story Aston Martin Residences in Downtown Miami along the Miami River is now going vertical as construction reaches the 2nd floor.

Foundation work began November 2017 and two cranes were installed on the site in February of this year.

With 391 residential units, prices start at $750,000 with the triple level penthouse going for $50 million.

The Aston Martin Residences is being developed by G&G Business Developments and designed by Revuelta Architecture and Bodas Miani Anger Architects & Associates.

Construction is expected to be completed in 2022.

The 38 story 2000 Ocean in Hallandale Beach has reached the 5th floor of construction.

Developed by KAR Properties and designed by TEN Arquitectos and Kobi Karp, each unit will be a half or full floor with private elevators and views of the ocean. The 64 residential units will have floor to ceiling windows with prices starting at $2.8 million.

Construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2020.

The Estates at Acqualina Construction

The Estates at Acqualina South Tower continues to rise quickly as construction reaches the 33rd floor of the 50 story tower at 700 feet. Construction started going vertical on the tower in February.

The North Tower is now going vertical and will also be 50 stories at 700 feet.

TBT (September 30, 2016) - 3 years ago, foundation work was starting on the 64 story Brickell Flatiron. The building topped off in February and is expected to open soon. Construction photos of Brickell Flatiron can be viewed here.

Since groundbreaking began earlier in March, foundation work was being done at Brickell Flatiron site and now excavating has started. 

One crane has been added to the site with the base of another installed. The foundation pour is scheduled for December 2016/January 2017 with the project going vertical soon afterwards.

Construction is going quickly at One Cocowalk in Coconut Grove since the first glass was installed on the 5 story office building in June.

A year ago, in August 2018, the old Cocowalk was almost completed demolished and vertical construction began in December 2018.

New restaurants Sushi Garage and Botanico Gin & Cookhouse will be joining Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza and Los Generales Mezcal & Grill as part of the revamped Cocowalk.

One Cocowalk will be open Spring 2020.

A year ago, construction was starting to go vertical on the site.

TBT (September 10, 2015) - 4 years ago, Regatta Park was set to open in Coconut Grove. The site was the location of the Expo Center that was demolished to make way for the park.

Regatta Park was initially supposed to be open on September 7, Labor Day, but the park is almost completed and should be ready for the public in the next few weeks. 

The three story Dockmaster building is already open and offers great views of Biscayne Bay, Downtown Miami and Coconut Grove from the top floor of the building. The old Dockmaster building, which used to be apart of Pan-Am is going to be demolished in the next week or so. The next phase for Regatta Park will be the revamp of the parking lot adjacent to the park on the East side.
