Construction on MiamiCentral

After starting site work in November 2014, construction is progressing on All Aboard Florida's MiamiCentral. The FAA recently approved One MiamiCentral, which will rise 1,000 feet above sea level that will have 250 hotel rooms, 280 residential units and over 600,000 square feet of office space.

When we last looked at Monarc at Met 3 the building had just topped out at 32 stories. The crane has been removed and painting of the exterior nearly complete.

Jade Signature Reaches 15th Floor of Construction

Jade Signature in Sunny Isles Beach has reached the 15th floor of construction with workers starting to add the 16th floor.

When we last looked, Jade Signature was just starting to go vertical on was on the second floor. The condo will be 57 stories.

As recent as December 2014, the Jade Signature was nothing more than a 50 foot deep oceanfront hole as seen from photos by Curbed Miami. Fast forward to June 2015 and the building has reached the third floor of the 57 story luxury condo. 

The project is being developed by Fortune International Group and was designed by Herzog and de Meuron.

Monarc At Met 3 Tops Off

After opening the Whole Foods on the ground level earlier this year, construction still continued above as the Monarc at Met 3 just topped off, according to Curbed Miami. 

The building has reached 32 stories with an 11 story parking garage underneath.

The Whole Foods Under Monarc at Met 3

Whole Foods has opened on the ground level of Monarc at Met 3 in mid-January despite construction continuing above on the building. 

The 32 story building is currently on the 30th floor and close to topping out.Construction is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

Site Work Starts At All Aboard Florida MiamiCentral Complex

After revealing plans in May, site work has begun on the Downtown Miami All Aboard Florida station called MiamiCentral. 

The nine acre site was formally used as parking lot. The plans for MiamiCentral include residential units, office space and retail. Plans have been submitted to the FAA to include a supertower in the complex that would rise over 1,000 feet. 

All Aboard Florida is also building stations in Fort Lauderdale and West Palm that will connect the high speed rail service to Orlando. 

Construction on the MiamiCentral site is expected to begin by the end of the year.
