Park Grove Under Construction

Construction is progressing at Park Grove on the two towers, Two Park Grove and the Club Residences since topping off in March. 

All of the cranes have been removed from the site and demolition has begun on the old Coconut Grove Bank, which will be the new location of the last tower - One Park Grove. One Park Grove will be a 20 story tower with 64 residential units.

As the towers of Park Grove - Two Park Grove and the Club Residences - become closer to completion, the next tower, One Park Grove is will start construction soon with the demolition of the old Coconut Grove Bank.

Built in 1959, the six story Coconut Grove Bank has been replaced by a new building in front of it and renamed Grove Bank & Trust. The new Grove Bank & Trust was completed at the end of March and the pool deck of Park Grove is located on the roof.

Cranes Removed At Park Grove

Since topping off in March, the crane is being removed at the Club Residences of Park Grove. One crane has been removed from Two Park Grove with the third crane coming down soon.

Two Park Grove and the Club Residences have topped off in Coconut Grove with 80 percent of the units sold. 

Construction has been completed on the new Coconut Grove Bank and is now open for business. Above the bank will be part of the pool and amenities for Park Grove. 

Park Grove will also have a Michael Schwartz restaurant designed by Meyer Davis that is expected to open in a year.

The Coconut Grove Bank is getting closer to completion and should be ready to open soon.

Once the new bank is open, the original six story Coconut Grove Bank, built in 1959, will be demolished to make way for One Park Grove. One Park Grove is expected to begin construction this Summer.

Two Park Grove and the Club Residences are only a few floors away from topping off.

Coconut Grove Parking Garage To Be Converted To Office Building

Coconut Grove is getting its first office building since 1989 at 2850 Oak Avenue, which is currently used as a parking garage. 

The parking garage was purchased by Terra Group for $16 million at the beginning of 2016. They plan on converting the parking garage into a 75,000 square feet of office space and ground level retail, according to The Miami Herald. The building will be designed by Touzet Studio and is expected to be completed by mid 2018.

Across the street from the building is the under construction condominium Park Grove.

Construction is going quickly at Park Grove as The Club Residences and Two Park Grove continue to rise. Both towers are at the 12th floor and will top out at 20 stories. Previously, when we last looked in October 2015, both towers were at the 5th floor.

Park Grove, designed by Rem Koolhaas of OMA, are starting to have the windows installed on the lower portion of the towers. The amenities deck atop of the new Coconut Grove Bank is taking shape and will feature 4 pools.
