Midtown 6 Construction
Midtown 6 is getting closer to completion as the hoists have been removed from the building and the amenities deck is almost finished.
The building topped off a year ago and will have 447 rental units. Construction started in February 2018.

2000 Ocean Construction
The 38 story 2000 Ocean in Hallandale Beach is rising quickly as construction reaches the 20th floor.
The first glass has been installed on the lower floor of the building.
2000 Ocean is expected to be completed in next year in Spring 2021.

The Estates At Acqualina Construction
The Estates At Acqualina South Tower is 3 floors away from top off as construction reaches the 47th floor and a height of 646 feet.
The North Tower has reaches the 5th floor and will eventually rise 50 stories and slightly taller at 667 feet.

The 66 story Aston Martin Residences in Downtown Miami has now reached the 7th floor of construction. The building was on the 2nd floor at the beginning of October.
With 391 residential units, construction is expected to be completed in 2022.
CVS at 728 Ocean Drive
TBT (January 31, 2018) - Two years ago the former Sun Ray Apartments was transformed into a completed CVS. The building was used in the movie Scarface with Al Pacino. Demolition began in April 2017.
Demolition started in April 2017 on the building that was used in the famous chainsaw scene in the 80's movie Scarface starring Al Pacino located at 728 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach. The renovation is completed and a brand new CVS will be opening this weekend in February.
Built in 1953 by architect Don Reiff in a post war modern style architecture, the building was used as the Sun Ray Apartments up until the late 1980's when it was converted into a modeling agency office. In recent years the upstairs was vacant and the ground level was used for a Johnny Rocket's Restaurant.
Although much of the back of the building was demolished, the front façade of the structure was saved and renovated to it's original look with brick on the right side of the front. The three Art Deco Portholes have been restored in a white color.
New York based Infinity Group purchased the building in 2015 for $12.4 million.
AMLI Residential Midtown Miami
The 6.6 acre AMLI Residential Midtown Miami is getting closer to completion as all the cranes have been removed from the site since we last looked in September 2019.
With over 700 rental units, the North Tower is 12 stories and the South Tower is 8 stories. Construction started going vertical October 2018.
