Coconut Grove
Mary Street Office Under Construction
Purchased for $16 million in January 2016, construction is well underway at Terra Group's Mary Street Office in Coconut Grove.
When completed the building will have 75,000 square feet of Class A office space and 20,000 square feet of retail.
The Mary Street Office building is designed by Touzet Studio and Beame Architectural Partnership.
The Optimum Coconut Grove
Since topping off in June, The 5 story Optimum in Coconut Grove is getting closer to completion.
The crane has been removed from the site and almost all of the glass has been installed on the building.
The Optimum will have 44,000 square feet of office space and a 6,500 square foot rooftop restaurant.

Cocowalk Demolition
The Eastern portion of Cocowalk is nearly halfway demolished since demolition began in May and front part of the building started coming down in July. Replacing that section of Cocowalk will be the 5 story Class A office building One Cocowalk.
The last remaining store in the main rotunda, Starbucks, has since been closed and moved across the street. The main rotunda has been fenced off and will be demolished soon to make way for an open courtyard.
Mr. C Coconut Grove
The newly branded Mr. C Coconut Grove located at 2988 McFarlane Road is making progress and gearing up for a Winter 2018 opening date.
All the windows have been installed as painting begins on the exterior of the building and work continues on the rooftop pool.

Summerhill in Coconut Grove
Two 20 story apartments called Summerhill, located at 2655 S Bayshore Drive have been proposed in Coconut Grove, according to the SFBJ.
Developed by Terra Group, the apartments would have 303 units, 574 parking spaces and would replace a current apartment complex that was built in 1969.
The site is located next to where the Grand Bay Hotel used to be and was replaced by another Terra Group project, Grove at Grand Bay.
Cocowalk Demolition
Demolition on the Eastern side of Cocowalk began in May of this year and the three stories are getting close to being completely gone.
On the third level was a Hooters Restaurant that was abandoned for several years, and a Duffy's Sport Grill that was recently gutted in April.
A Class A 5 story office building with 73,000 square feet will rise in its place with construction to be completed by the end of 2019.
The main rotunda at Cocowalk where there is currently a Starbucks is expected to be demolished by the end of the Summer to make way for an open courtyard.
The Optimum Topped Off
The 5 story office building, The Optimum in Coconut Grove has topped off at 5 stories with the ceremonial palm tree placed on top of the building.
When we last looked, The Optimum just reached the 4th floor of construction. The building started going vertical in December 2017.
Construction is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
