Scotty's Landing Demolished As Construction Continues At Regatta Harbour

Since closing a year ago, Scotty’s Landing (Grove Bay Grill) has been demolished to make way for the 7 acre Regatta Harbour. Next to the demolished restaurant was The Chart House restaurant which was also demolished two years ago.

In its place will be a Cut & Dry Restaurant and Afishonado Restaurant, event space, marina with 400 slips, public baywalk and two Pan Am hangars turned into retail space.

The Grove Bay Parking Garage was completed last month and began construction in June 2018.

Construction Begins at Mr C Residences In Coconut Grove

Construction has started on the 20 story South Tower at Mr C Residences in Coconut Grove located at 2655 South Bayshore Drive, according to The Miami Herald.

The Terra Group developed building will have 118 residences with prices starting at $600,000. The building will include gourmet market, juice bar, Bellini Bar, 24-hour doorman and security, 24-hour valet, pool, Billiards room, library, cinema and business lounge.

Mr. C Residences is located across the street from the under construction Regatta Harbour.

AC Hotel By Marriott and Element By Westin In Brickell Reaches 14th Floor

Located across the street from Brickell City Centre, the 24 story AC Hotel By Marriott and Element By Westin continues to rise as it reaches the 14th floor.

The building will have 264 hotel rooms, 23,000 square feet of ground level retail and a rooftop bar.

AC Hotel By Marriott and Element By Westin In Brickell Reaches 8th Floor

The 24 story AC Hotel By Marriott and Element By Westin has reached the 8th floor after getting to the 4th floor in March.

The building, which will have 264 hotel rooms, was built on the site of the former El Eden Motel, which was demolished at the end of 2017.

The site is located across the street from Brickell City Centre.

57 Story Elysee Construction Photos

The 57 story Elysee tower is taking shape in Edgewater since the building topped off at the beginning of the year.

A year ago, construction reached the 34th floor. The crane has been removed from the building and the parking garage has been connected to the base of the tower. Work is being doing on the pool deck above the garage.

The telescoping building is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

Regatta Harbour In Coconut Grove Construction Updates

Construction is well underway at the 7 acre Regatta Harbour in Coconut Grove as the Grove Bay Parking Garage is almost completed.

An Anatomy Gym will take up 14,500 square feet of space on the ground level of the parking garage that will be opened this year.

Two old Pan Am hangars have been completed stripped down and will eventually be boat storage and retail space.

After closing in November 2019, Scotty’s Landing still hasn’t been demolished, but will likely be torn down in the coming months. Next door was The Chart House restaurant that was demolished in October 2017 and will be replaced by a Cut & Dry restaurant and an Afishonado restaurant.

Construction is expected to be completed first quarter 2021.
