Curbed Miami has gotten word from Related Group President Carlos Rosso that Icon Bay will begin closings soon on the building.
The 42 story building began construction in March 2013 and is located on the edge of Biscayne Bay in the Edgewater district of Miami.

The Paraiso Bay Complex in Edgewater
Since breaking ground in July 2014, Paraiso Bay has poured the foundation for the first tower in the complex. The cranes have been added to the site and the first tower has started to go vertical.
Paraiso I and II will be two 55 story towers with 345 units.
Residents will have 2 acres of green space and parks.
Biscayne Beach in Edgewater
Making slow, but steady progress is Biscayne Beach in the Edgewater district of Miami.
Since installing the base of two cranes, the tower is starting to rise and is currently at the second floor that will eventually reach 51 stories.
2004 Biscayne Boulevard in Red
In the booming Edgewater district of Miami, a group of Russian investor have purchased the City Hall restaurant at 2004 Biscayne Boulevard, according to The Next Miami.
They plan on building a 60 story tower on the 32,775 square foot site.
Rendering At 1836 Biscayne Blvd
Plans have been submitted to the City of Miami for a residential condo above the First Church of Christ Scientist building. The proposal would preserve the church while converting it to retail space. The condo would be built above the church at a max height of 36 stories, which is the most allowing by zoning.
The site was purchased in November 2014, by Fifteen Group for $14.3 million.
The project is being designed by ADD, Inc.

Across the street at 1900 Biscayne Boulevard a developer submitted plans for a 429 unit tower according to The Next Miami.
The Purchased Site Highlighted In Red
A vacant lot located at the corner of NE 2nd Ave and NE 17th St. in Edgewater has just sold for $64 million. The land is just South of City Cemetery and the lot size is 7.4 acres.
The seller is BDM Miami and the buyer is Rebuild Miami-Edgewater. BDM Miami had plans to build Bayview Market before the recession came.
