Panorama Tower continues to grow taller to become the tallest building South of New York on the eastern seaboard. The tower will reach 85 stories at a height of 830 feet to surpass the Four Seasons Miami as the tallest in the city. 

Previously, in September, Panorama Tower reached the 57th floor and already had incredible 360 views of the city. Now the building has climbed 10 floors higher at 67 floors and the views keep getting better and better. At 67 floors, Panorama Tower is already higher than most of the surrounding buildings.

The building will have 1-3 bedroom units from 900 to 2,200 square feet. Amenities including three private movie theaters, fitness center, private dining and wine room, recording studio and a cyber café.

Panorama Tower has reached the 67th floor of construction and is only 18 floors away from topping out. The tower will reach 830 feet and be the tallest building in Miami. 

When we previously looked at Panorama Tower the building was on the 57th floor and already offered incredible views of the city from all angles.

Progress is being made at the Fairwind Hotel on Miami Beach since we last looked in April of this year. 

The newly built guest room blocks at the rear of the site have topped out and will include a rooftop amenity deck. 

The restoration of the original Fairwind Building built by architect L. Murray Dixon in 1936 is taking shape, considering two years ago it was just an empty shell.

The property was purchased by The Chetrit Group for $14.5 million in 2012 and was designed by Shulman + Associates.

Panorama Tower To Be Branded With Hyatt Centric Hotel

The 85 story Panorama Tower, soon to be the tallest building South of New York, will have a Hyatt Centric Hotel. 

The Hyatt Centric will be on 17 floors on the bottom pedestal of the building with 208 rooms. The hotel is expected to open in November 2017. 

Construction on Panorama Tower is currently at the 61st floor.

Brickell Yacht Club To Be Redeveloped Into 1111 Brickell

The existing condo on Brickell Bay Drive call Brickell Yacht Club may be redeveloped into another condo called 1111 Brickell, according to The Next Miami.

Plans have been submitted to Miami's Planning and Zoning department while the Urban Development Review Board will review it on November 15th. 

Plans call for a new 61 story condo with 572 units, with the existing Brickell Yacht Club turned into a hotel with 250 rooms and 178 residential units.

REIT Aimco is the developer and Stantec the architect.

The planned two tower Faena Versailles Classic and Faena Versailles Comtemporary in the Faena District has been put on hold and may by turned into a hotel instead, according to The Real Deal. 

Just a year ago, Faena House and Faena Hotel Miami Beach were completed, while construction progressed on Faena Bazaar and Faena Forum.

The almost completed Faena Forum is expected to open November 27, in time for Art Basel 2016.

SLS Brickell Is Officially Open

After breaking ground in early 2014, the 52 story SLS Brickell is now officially open. 

Located at 1300 South Miami Avenue, SLS Brickell has 450 residential units and an SLS hotel. There is a rooftop pool that offers stunning views of the city.

The Arquitectonica designed building has lights on the edge of the balconies that illuminate the skyline at night.
