When we looked at Collins Park Hotel in February 2017, the buildings had been gutted and only the outer shell had remained for the new construction. 

Collins Park Hotel consists of six buildings that were built between 1938 and 1953 on 1.65 acres of land at 2000 Park Avenue in Miami Beach. The hotel will have 296 rooms and have all of the rooftops connected. 

Collins Park Hotel is being developed by Chetrit Group and Kobi Karp is the project architect.

After starting to go vertical at the beginning of the year, Arte by Antonio Citterio has now reached the 5th floor of the 12 story building in Surfside. 

Arte by Antonio Citterio is being developed by ASRR Capital and Süzer Group. 

Construction is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

Construction begins at Monad Terrace located at 1300 West Avenue in Miami Beach.

Monad Terrace will consist of only 59 luxury units with two towers at 7 stories and 14 stories. 

Recently securing a $62.5 million construction loan, units start at $1.7 million and will range from two to five bedrooms.

Expected to be completed third quarter 2019, Monad Terrace is being developed by JDS Development and designed by Jean Nouvel with Kobi Karp.

Palazzo Della Luna Under Construction

After initially starting construction January 2016, Palazzo Della Luna has topped off at 10 stories on Fisher Island. 

With only 50 units, Palazzo Della Luna is being developed by PDS Development and has started sales. Units will range from $6.5 million to $40 million.

The next door Palazzo Del Sol was completed in 2016.

The 12 story Arte by Antonio Citterio in Surfside is now starting to go vertical after beginning foundation work in January 2017. 

With only 12 units, Arte by Antonio Citterio is being developed by ASRR Capital and Süzer Group. ASRR Capital closed on a large site in Edgewater where they plan to building two towers in June 2017.

Construction is expected to be completed bu the end of 2018.

Residence Inn Sunny Isles

The Residence Inn Sunny Isles opened for business November 2017. 

At a cost of $65 million, the 19 story hotel with 194 studio suites was developed by Robert Finvarb Companies, who is also developing a 24 story mixed used hotel in Brickell and designed by architect Kobi Karp.

The Residence Inn is located near the under construction Muse Residences and Jade Signature.

53 Story Tower Proposed For Edgewater

A 53 story mixed used tower has been proposed in Edgewater and will go before Miami's Urban Design Review Board on November 29th, according to The SFBJ. 

Located at 1775 Biscayne Boulevard across from the nearly completed Aria on the Bay, the tower will have 200 hotel rooms, 444 residential units, 45,600 square feet of commercial space, 64,500 square feet of office space and 546 parking spaces.

The project will be developed by V Downtown and designed by Kobi Karp.
