Faena Bazaar

Originally built in 1939 by architect Roy France, who also designed The Saxony and The Versailles, Faena Bazaar is an updated renovation of the Art Deco building.

As part of the Faena District, which includes Faena Forum, Faena House, Faena Hotel, Faena Versailles and Faena Park, the 4 story Faena Bazaar was designed by Rem Koolhaas of OMA. 

The building is currently being used as the Museum of Ice Cream, which will be there until February 26.

Since topping off in November 2017, L'Atelier Miami Beach is taking form as exterior work on the tower and former Golden Sands Hotel continues. 

Located at 6901 Collins Avenue, L'Atelier is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

Nautilus South Beach on Collins Ave

The Nautilus South Beach is listed for sale and  could fetch up to $180 million, according to The Real Deal.

Built in 1950 in the style of Miami Modern (MiMo), the Nautilus Hotel was designed by famed architect Morris Lapidus. In 1985, the named was changed to Riande Continental Hotel under new ownership. 

The current owner, Quadrum Global, purchased the property in April 2011 for $61 million where it underwent extensive renovation and converted the name back to Nautilus Hotel.

1111 Lincoln Road Penthouse For Sale At $34M

A penthouse, called Skyhouse 11, atop the Herzog & de Meuron designed parking garage 1111 Lincoln Road is listed for sale at $34 million, according to The Miami Herald.

With 7,000 square feet of interior space and 18,000 square feet of outdoor space, the penthouse is being sold by developer Robert Wennett.

Wennett recently sold the 1111 Lincoln Road parking garage for $283 million in July to German investment fund Bayerische Versorgungskammer.

L'Atelier Miami Beach Topped Off

When we last looked at L'Atelier Miami Beach in April, the building had just reached the 3rd floor. The 18 story condominium has now topped off.

Located at 6901 Collins Avenue, L'Atelier Miami Beach was designed by architect Luis Revuelta and developed by SMG Development and W Capital Group.

L'Atelier Miami Beach is incorporating the original three story façade of the Golden Sands Hotel, built in 1951, into the new design with a new pool deck on the roof.

Construction is expected to be completed in 2018.

Construction is progressing at The Ritz-Carlton Residences Miami Beach since we last looked in March.

With 111 residential units and 15 single family villas, the Ritz-Carlton Residences is expected to open this Winter.

1111 Lincoln Road Parking Garage Purchased For $283M

1111 Lincoln Road

The iconic 1111 Lincoln Road designed by architects Herzog & de Meuron has been purchased by a new owner, according to The Miami Herald. 

The 263 space parking garage with 40,000 square feet of retail and 110,000 square feet of office space cost $65 million and opened in 2010.

The property was purchased in 2005 by developer Robert Wennett for $23.5 million.
