SLS Brickell continues to rise taller in Brickell. The tower will rise 52 stories and comprise of 450 residential units plus an SLS Hotel.

A look at Brickell City Centre, which is scheduled to open at the end of 2015. Brickell City Centre looks drastically different when compared to the photos and video taken over 14 months ago.

The event was held at Hyde Midtown Suites and Residences, a joint venture between The Related Group and Dezer Development will include a collection of 60 Designer Suites and 410 luxury condominiums between Miami’s Design District and Downtown. Arquitectonica has designed the building and David Rockwell will finish the interiors with tech-minded, culturally fluent young professionals in mind. Condominium contracts are currently being accepted for the property, with the project slated to open in 2018. The climate ribbon at Brickell City Centre is starting to look more like the renderings with the glass being installed on the ribbon. The initial installation on the climate ribbon began in November 2014.
The $30 million climate ribbon is designed to keep shoppers cool from the Miami heat while emitting natural light, but using the breeze of Biscayne Bay to keep people cool.
Parts of the climate ribbon extend over the skywalk on 7th St. and South Miami Avenue.

When driving through the Edgewater district of Miami, the Icon Bay stands out as it towers over the other buildings in the area. Just below the building is Icon Bay Park, which Related Group donated to the City of Miami.
Icon Bay began closings in March of this year and should be ready to open soon.
The Arquitectonica designed building is 42 stories and also has 2 tennis courts on site.
The SLS Lux at 801 South Miami Avenue is continuing work on the site before getting ready to start the foundation pour soon.
The site is located across from Brickell City Centre and the under construction Brickell Heights.
Phase I of the Paraiso Bay building in Edgewater has reached the 5th floor of construction since our last update on the project.
Since then, the trees and land has been cleared out around the site adjacent to the building where Paraiso Bayviews and One Paraiso will go. Renderings of the site can be seen here.
Recently, Related Group announced the Paraiso Bay Beach Club, which will be designed by the Meyer Davis Studio and have a restaurant by chef Michael Schwartz. Curbed Miami has renderings of the newly revealed Beach Club.
