Over the span of three years the skyline and neighborhood of Brickell has changed dramatically. With the addition of Brickell City Centre, Brickell Heights, Brickell House, 1100 Millecento and many other condos, the area has grown from empty lots to sky high towers surrounding the land just South of the Miami River.

Brickell Heights Construction Photos
Next to Mary Brickell Village, the two towers of Brickell Heights are becoming distinct since our last update. The foundation has been poured and a few floors have been added on each tower.
Related Group just received a $161 million construction loan for the project, according to SFBJ.
Brickell Heights is expected to be completed by the end of 2017.
Brickell Heights Starting To Go Vertical
Since adding the base of a crane in early January, Brickell Heights is now showing signs of going vertical. Two cranes have been added to the site and the separation between the two buildings are now more pronounced.
Brickell Heights is located next to the shops of Mary Brickell Village and Brickell City Centre.
Brickell Heights Will Soon Go Vertical
Construction has continued on Brickell Heights over the holidays and the base of a crane has been added meaning that the project soon be ready to go vertical very soon.
The two story condo began preliminary construction in June, and had its official groundbreaking on July 31, 2014.
Brickell Heights and Paraiso Bay To Have Groundbreaking Today
At 10am today, Related Group will have the groundbreaking for Brickell Heights, which will be two towers located next to Mary Brickell Village and a block away from Brickell City Centre.
An hour later, Related Group will also break ground on Paraiso Bay, located in the emerging Edgewater district.
Related is also expected to announce presales for the Paraiso Bayviews, which will be 44 stories and contain 388 units.
Preliminary Construction Begins on Brickell Heights
Preliminary construction has started on Brickell Heights. Workers are in the process of clearing out the trees and prepping the ground. More cranes and equipment are expected to arrive at the site today.
The site will have two 49 story towers and approximately 690 units. The towers were designed by Arquitectonica. A third tower was added to the project across the street, which will include the SLS Lux Hotel and Residences Brickell. A total of 1,215 units are being offered for sale.
The site is located between Mary Brickell Village and Brickell City Centre.
Moss and Associates was awarded the construction contract.
