The 28 story Oceana Bal Harbour located at 10201 Collins Avenue in Bal Harbour is getting closer to completion and should be ready for closings in November.

When we previously looked at the project in March, two cranes were still on the site and exterior work was still being done. The interiors are nearly finished and landscaping work by Enzo Enea is currently in process.

Faena Forum, designed by Rem Koolhaas of OMA, is a 42,565 square foot building for the arts and scheduled to open in November, in time for Art Basel.

Next to Faena Forum is Faena Bazaar, which will feature retail and office space, plus a parking garage.

One Thousand Museum continues to rise taller in the Park West district of Miami since our last update in May.

The 62 story luxury condominium designed by architect Zaha Hadid will reach 700 feet. A year ago, the empty lot was getting ready for its foundation pour.

The exoskeleton on the building is becoming more pronounced and glass fiber reinforced concrete will be used for the columns above the 15th floor.

The building is expected to top off early Summer 2017 and be completed in 2018.

Two Park Grove Is Going Vertical

Construction on Park Grove

Construction on Park Grove

After starting construction a year ago, Two Park Grove is starting to go vertical in Coconut Grove.

In May of this year, the foundation pour took place where 860 tons of steel and 2,600 cubic yards of concrete was poured at Two Park Grove. The foundation pour will support the tower columns of Two Park Grove.

Park Grove is being developed by Terra Group and The Related Group. The project was designed by OMA and is their first residential project in the United States. OMA sourced inspiration from Florida’s barrier islands ideally stacked one on top to resemble the vertical shape of Coconut Palm Trees to create this striking façade. The project’s exterior allows daylight into the units while benefitting from Coconut Grove’s lush greenery and cool breezes from Biscayne Bay.
