One Park Grove is getting closer to completion has the final crane has been removed from the 21 story building as the last building in the Park Grove complex in Coconut Grove.

Construction began on One Park Grove March 2018 before topping off in March of this year. The tower is expected to be completed before the end of the year.

The 60 story Paramount Miami Worldcenter in Downtown Miami is nearing completion as the final push until opening is being done.

The luxury pool deck is close to be finished as the pool is filled with water and cabanas are built. Paramount Miami Worldcenter will have 513 residential units.

A year ago, the building was on the 54th floor and close to top off. Construction started going vertical November 2017.

The Pleasure Emporium Demolished

TBT (July 6, 2015) - 4 years ago, the buildings that were located along the Miami River in Brickell were demolished to make way for 4 60 story towers called Miami River. The project is to be developed by Chetrit Group and designed by Kobi Karp.

The site is still vacant today.

After receiving approval from the Urban Development Review Board, demolition has begun at the Miami River site located just East of I-95 and along the Miami River.

The buildings on the site that were demolished include the Pleasure Emporium III, Sir Speedy and several single family homes. Currently Finnegan's on the River and a few boating stores remain on the site closest to the river and should be demolished soon. 

The Miami River site is part of the transformation of West Brickell and will be built in five phases of construction.

The 5 story Babylon Apartments in Brickell is being demolished after sitting abandoned for 4 years and years of trying to save the structure.

The Arquitectonica designed building was built in 1982 and held 15 apartments.

One Thousand Museum

One Thousand Museum has officially received TCO (Temporary Certificate of Occupancy) and closings are now underway.

The Zaha Hadid Designed tower topped off last year in February 2018 at 709 feet and both cranes were removed November 2018. Construction started going vertical at the end of 2016.

TBT (June 25, 2014) - 5 years ago the Frost Museum of Science was under construction before it was finally completed in May 2017. Groundbreaking occurred February 2011.

Located in Museum Park along with the Perez Art Museum of Miami, the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science broke ground in February 2011.

The 250,000 square foot museum was designed by Grimshaw Architects and will feature outdoor landscape, a 600,000 aquarium, a full dome 3-D planetarium and cafes. Phillip and Patricia Frost generously donated $35 million to the museum in 2011. 

Once completed, the science museum, art museum and museum park are expected to transform Downtown Miami into a cultural arts hub.

Construction is expected to be completed sometime in 2015.

ParkLine Towers at Virgin MiamiCentral

The two towers at ParkLine Towers at Virgin MiamiCentral are getting closer to completion since the South Tower topped off in February at 33 stories and the North Tower topped off in September 2018 at 30 stories.

A year ago, construction was beginning on the skybridge connecting the two towers. In November 2017, the North Tower started to go vertical.
