The Waldorf Astoria Hotel and Residences Miami

The Waldorf Astoria Hotel and Residences Miami will open at 300 Biscayne Boulevard and will eventually rise 1,049 feet, surpassing the height of the current tallest Panorama Tower.

The project is being developed by Property Markets Group, Greybrook Realty Partners and S2 Development. The building was designed by Sieger Suarez Architects with sales to begin in 2019.

Embassy Suites & Home 2 Brickell Site Cleared For Construction

After going for review by Miami’s Urban Development Review in February 2017, a 26,500 square foot lot in West Brickell has been cleared and construction is ready to commence any time.

Rising will be a 30 story Embassy Suites & Home 2 Brickell Hotel developed by US Hospitality Group and Valcan Investment Group with 283,338 square feet.

Previously on the site were six single family houses that were purchased for $842,000 in August 2013.

41 Story Wyndham Grand & TRYP Hotel To Start Construction January 2019

After announcing plans November 2017, Galwan has applied with the FAA to start construction on a 41 story Wyndham Grand & TRYP Hotel located at 88 SW 10th in Brickell with a height of 480 feet in January 2019. There will be a total of 445 hotel rooms, 200 under Wyndham Grand and 245 under TRYP by Wyndham. Developed by Brazilian developer Galwan, the hotel will have 8 story parking garage, pool deck and rooftop restaurant. Construction is expected to be complete by the end of 2020.

A block East of the site, a 20 story CitizenM Hotel Brickell will also be coming on the Perricone's restaurant site.

A new rendering has been revealed on the CitizenM website of the new 20 story CitizenM Hotel Brickell on the Perricone's Restaurant site.

The 10,695 square foot Perricone's Restaurant lot was sold for $16 million in October 2017.

A previous rendering in June showed a different design. When completed, the CitizenM Hotel Brickell will have 252 hotel rooms and a rooftop restaurant. 

CitizenM Hotels also announced that a 12 story hotel will be coming to the Miami Worldcenter site in the future.

12 Story CitizenM Hotel Coming To Miami Worldcenter

A 12 story CitizenM hotel will be coming to the Miami Worldcenter project located next to NE 2nd Ave between NE 7th St and NE 8th St, according to The Real Deal.

The hotel will have 128,000 square feet with a rooftop bar and pool and is located next to the under construction Caoba Apartments and the recently topped off Paramount Miami Worldcenter.

CitizenM is also developing at 20 story hotel in Brickell at the Perricone's Restaurant location.

A six story mixed used building called Metronomic Place is coming to Coconut Grove with groundbreaking expected in September, according to Curbed Miami.

The 13,050 square foot lot was purchased in June of this year for $4.1 million by Metronomic Inc. Metronomic is also developing to soon to come five story Commodore Place also in Coconut Grove.

Designed by CLAD, Metronomic Place will have 5,000 square feet of office space, 3,200 square feet of ground floor retail and 44 hotel rooms. 

Metronomic Place is expected to be completed in 2019.

6th & Washington Site In Miami Beach Going Vertical

A hotel and retail building located in South Beach at 6th & Washington is now going vertical. 

The assemblage spanning an entire block between 6th and 7th Street was acquired over 12 months between June 2014 and July 2015 for $32.75 million by Washington Squared LLC.

The hotel will have 312 rooms, 46,849 square feet of retail and a parking garage with 258 spaces. 

Previously on the site was a 1 story building built in 1934 and designed by architect E.L. Robertson. On the corner of 7th and Washington was Friedman's Bakery, which was used to test a new color pallet that would kick off the the Art Deco preservation in Miami Beach. The faΓ§ade of the building is being saved as part of the new design and construction.
