The under construction CitizenM Hotel Brickell at the former Perricone’s Restaurant site, which was demolished in April of this year, has received a $48 million construction loan, according to The Real Deal.

The 20 story hotel will have 252 rooms.

The site was purchased for 16.2 million in October 2017.

The 20 story CitizenM Hotel Brickell had a crane installed on site this week as hotel is ready to go vertical.

The site and trees were cleared from the property in August and foundation work began last month.

A Legacy Hotel & Residences has been proposed for Miami Worldcenter at 942 NE 1st Ave that will have 278 residential units and 255 hotel rooms, according to The Real Deal.

The developer is Royal Palm Companies, which also built the recently completed Paramount Miami Worldcenter and the architect is Kobi Karp.

The project is expected to break ground in June 2020 and will be priced between $300,000 and $500,000.

The Legacy Hotel & Residences will be part of the 27 acre Miami Worldcenter complex in Downtown Miami.

Construction Reaches 3rd Floor at YotelPad Miami

Construction has started at the 31 story, 341 foot YotelPad Miami which will have 231 residential units and 222 hotel rooms.

YotelPad is being designed by Stantec and developed by Aria Development Group and Kuwait’s Aqarat.

Units range from 417 to 708 square feet and is expected to be completed in 2021.

Downtown Miami Langford Hotel Sold For $37M

The 12 story Langford Hotel located at 121 SE 1st Street in Downtown Miami has been sold for $37 million, according to The Real Deal.

The hotel, built in 1925 was sold by Stambul and purchased by Hotusa Hotels. Stambul purchased the building in 2013 for $2.7 million and spent two years renovating the structure.

Stambul purchased a building a 200 East Flagler for $19.75 million in July 2018 and purchased the old U.S. Post Office and Courthouse Building for $11 million in June 2014.

The 24 story AC Hotel By Marriott & Element By Westin in West Brickell is now under construction at 115 SW 8th Street.

The building will have the two hotels with 264 rooms combined and a rooftop bar and terrace.

The site was purchased by Tony Cho and Robert Finvarb for $18.4 million in January 2017. Previous on the site was the El Eden Motel, which was demolished in December 2017.
